Group admins use the Details Tab to edit their group’s details, including:
- the group name
- the group description (250 characters)
- the group email address (for Reply by Email)
- the group’s Quick Link
- the group’s metadata (campus and purpose)
- the group’s Social Icons (Facebook, X (Twitter), instagram, LinkedIn, Academia.edu)
- whether or not the group using, compiles, or functions as an OER (Open Education Resource)
The group admin can choose to make these updates silent (no notifications are sent to the group).
Admins cannot change the URL of the group that was initially used to create the group.
